I feel the need to review even after eight(!) years because I can't believe how little attention this got. (Though maybe because it's old and therefore harder to find?)

I love how dark this whole fic is. Like a wounded animal, Cloud is most dangerous when he's confused. It's awesome.

I'm a few years late, but damn, what a great piece. A few formatting hangups, but that can be forgiven. Why didn't this get more attention? Sheesh...

This doesn't have a single review? What is wrong with people. This was very good. I love the way you portrayed Cloud. Dark, yet still afraid. The last line was really good. I really loved this fic. Excellent job.
