towa no yume 2008-08-09 ch 1,	abusethis is an EXCELLENT fic.. i really, really love it! in the beginning, i was hoping his wife would be jane but when you said: "Or even if old Jane still kept all her kings in the back row." my hopes went down.. i was really shocked by your ending.. it was jane after all! haha.. anyways, you wrote the story much like salinger did.. i am beginning to hope that this is a real chapter in the book! write more... =D

Holden's been my favorite character from any book since i read Catcher in the Rye when i was in the sixth grade. great job, this sure was a treat.

I'm hopeless and about to leave this genre for good, and then my eye catches your fanfic, and I decide to just give it a shot. Let me tell you my friend, you did not disappoint me. You really captured Holden's character, and the best part is you didn't overdo it. Then, I thought it was really sweet how you revealed at the end Holden had married Jane. ^^ Anyway, keep up the good work; this is defiantly going into my favorite stories. But I have one suggestion: capitalize the title so it'll be "Don't Get the Wrong Idea". Please? For me? I've never seen anyone besides Salinger himself do so well. And that last part at the end about keeping the kings in the back row was wonderful. I love to think that Holden and Jane end up together.
