nice work! You've captured all the characters very well, and it all make sense as a plot. Heh. I like Jayne best in this, although congrats on a very realistic Zoe (I've noticed her character tends to get short changed a bit in some stories).

Very cute. The strange formatting made it a little harder to read in places, but the Malishness comes shining through regardless.

"That's a lot to expect from a bedpad and some straight talk, sir."

What a fabulous line. Made me laugh, which was sorely needed on a bad monday at work.

This was a great little snippet scene from the early days of the crew learning their way around each other. Thanks for sharing.

Never read the original but this was a neat take on Jayne settling in. I have to say that I found the ~~'s annoying, but maybe that was the site reformatting something? Again: great story!
