I really have no idea as to why this story doesn't have more reviews, other than that the Vossler/Bash fandom does not seem at all popular. A shame; it's probably my favorite.

I've got to say that your story was so wonderfully depressing, especially at the end where Basch wishes that he had led Vossler to die on the Shiva -- that itself was enough to summarize the story. I also like the hints that there was once something more between them and that Vossler only devotes his life to Basch because the man saved him and not because he wants to.

All in all, I was very pleased I came upon this story...like, last week. And after I read it again, I decided to review.
