OMG! i read the latest chapters (398-401) and have some how come to pity Itachi still this story revealed a darker motive behind it all just like Madara said "It wasnt beacuse he wanted to, it was because he needed to."

like i said in the other fic, this plot twist was AWESOME.

it makes SO much more sense than the other fics about any sort of "brotherly love" or such excuses about sasuke being allowed to live. not only that, but it also makes more sense that itachi did it for business- i don't think it was coincidence that he just HAPPENED to join a rogue organization right after killing his parents - it was probably planned ahead. anyway, this makes SO much sense, and it's AWESOMELY written!

Whoa...nice. I'd flirted with the idea of Itachi killing the Uchiha clan because of Akatsuki, but this is a wonderful, flawless portrayal of the reasoning behind letting Sasuke live (the one thing, of course, I couldn't figure out). Amazing!
