Wow. This is short but very powerful. I've always been intrigued by the story of Ash's girlfriend, to the point of crafting a huge multi-part (and woefully unfinished) fanfic to flesh out the story, and yet here, in so few words, you've given us as much as needs to be said. Excellent work.
