Well, here's what I think:

This is a pointless story if it's basically the same thing as another story, which, by the way, I'm sure is much better than this.
And based on this fact, I'm sure the characters in this are just people who happen to have the same names as GX characters, and are probably rip-offs of the characters from "The White Stag."
Therefore, when it comes to the GX characters, you're way off when it comes to their personalities.

Also, the name "Kenzan" should not appear here if you're using the dub names. Hassleberry is the correct name. Now, if you are set on using that name, change everyone else's name. Well, Jim would be the same no matter what...

Your description could be better, and the story lacks tone, so it's a bit boring.
Work on that.
