Wow. Just, WOW! Your characterizations are spot on, the imagery you create seems real and vivid, and the emotions I felt reading it were varied. You managed to show the conflict of the story without wallowing in it. I hope you write more in this arc. Great job!

I just found this fanfic today and I absolutely fell in love with it. I love alternate pairings and 4xR is one of my top five favorites!

I love how the characters are written in this story. So many authors take Relena and either make her annoying or extremely weak and frail. I love how yours had a few weaknesses but how in Quatre's view they were still strengths. Same with Quatre, so many portray him as the weak pilot but I love how this fic made him soft and gentle but still strong and a fighter.

I also love the premise. The opera idea was fantastic and I loved how you incorporated it into the fic.

I think the lemon was perfect, given who the couple was! Although I love Heero/Relena fics, I think Quatre makes a good man for her too but not many people write those fics. So kudos for writing one! I especially like the fact that they were adults who took the time for their feelins to grow! 3!

This piece was exceptionally beautiful, like the opera it would have been had you been given a stage and actors. You used your words exceptionally well, keeping things extremely sweet yet full of emotion. There wasn't sadness or longing, like most authors might have used when writing this pairing and I liked that the most. It is well past time that Quatre and Relena find themselves a little happiness! This is the first story that I have read for the pairing and I think that, thanks to you, I'm a little bit of a fan. I do wonder, though, what a paring with Heero and Dorothy might have been; it seems they're both a bit into abuse. One physical and one mental ... but I'm straying from the point of this review! I had never heard of such a thing as a happy opera, although I should thank you for giving me one in this story. There really is a little too much tragedy in this world and we all need, every once in a while, something a little light and airy to keep us going. This was a wonderful piece, I enjoyed it immensely and I thank you so much for sharing it with the community!

The lemon was more than okay. It was sensual and sweet. Very intimate. It fit their personalities well. My only complaint is that it wasn't any longer. :p /pervert

I thought this was a really adorable little ficlet! Those two are both so sweet and gentle, it's a natural pairing, in my eyes. And the smut was short and sweet and not so detailed that it hit the disgusting quality of porn.
