This might be a double review as I think the other might have gotten lost in the transit, but if not then you'll just have two from me, saying pretty much the same thing. Anyways, here's what I said(as best i can remember):

Wow, that was an amazing story. I'll admit I was a little frustrated at first as things seemed to be moving so slowly, but as I kept on reading things started to come together it pulled me in til the very end. I enjoyed reading this one a lot and I think it was even better than the first. Keeping the title in mind as I read, I kept trying to figure out who was going to betray who. It was a great idea to bring back Golbez and at the same time introduce Kieran to the mix. It gave me a sense of "who's it gonna be" as I wondered who the suspected betrayer was. I kinda figured it was Kieran, but there were times I gave Golbez a glance. His character seemed fitting seeing as we never really get to see how he really is in the game. The reactions between him and Cecil were interesting as well. Their behavior towards each other felt right for some reason. You did well with that. And Kain and Diane... I never thought I'd see Kain fall in love, but you pulled it off. And Cid's reactions were perfect. I laughed out loud when he called Kain a "dirty womanizer". The whole story played out very well, and I'm impressed. Sorry it took so long to finish this, but I've been trying to catch up with my life since I got out of college. Now I'm off to read Hope. I "hope" it's as good as the last two ;)

Beautiful continuation! I love the sequel...makes it almost seem like this could have been a continuation of FFIV! Can't wait to read Part III! (btw, this is one sequel that al least parallels, if not exceeds, the content and the richness of its predecessor...)

ahhh! really really good! altho i was kinda mad that kain and diane got together. i'm sorry to say but kain and rosa belong together (i get impatient with cecil for some odd reason...). but nehoo, yes! edge and rydia BELONG together. that's just a fact. include them a lot next part! again, great job! i can't wait for part 3 and will be looking out for it all!

OH MY GOD! This was so good! Kieran was a good villan. I knew he was bad from the start too. Golbez and Cecil seem to have trouble getting along, and I was wondering if that will effect the rest of the group? Kain and Diane make a good couple, and Cid makes it funny. Keep up the good work!

Okay...how can I say this plainly...this is the best piece of fic about FFIV that I've ever read.The characterization is great,the mood of the game is rendered superbly,and the new characters are just as alive as the actual heroes of the game.BTW,I especially love how you depicted Margaret _ FFIV was my first(and still all-time favorite)RPG,and this story is everything a worthy sequel to the game should be.Please,write fast for the third part,I can't wait!

How fabulous! I really hope the lack of reviews isn't discouraging you, as this is a truly wonderful story and you probably won't ever get as many as you deserve for this (which is a kajillion). I ordinarily hate author-created characters but all the ones you've created seem to blend in perfectly with the FFIV characters rather than seeming stilted and misplaced (I especially like Diane with Kain. They're cute ;)). It's also quite impressive that English is not your first language; you seem to have a better mastery of it than quite a few other authors on this site. Anyway, now I'm rambling. Great fic, and hope to see the final part soon!
