An exquisitely beautiful story. I know what it is to read of happy endings to pander to that frail, forlorn hope that they may exist, and you have captured that desperate, bitter hope wonderfully.

I don't normally read tragedies...having had far too many of them in my own life I find myself turning to the written word for escapism. That being said, I check out the people who read my stories and one had favorited "Morior Animus". In curiousity I started to read and found myself physically unable to stop.

It was beautifully written and structured in a way that left me hoping against hope that some miracle would appear at the eleventh hour so when it didn't...I haven't stopped crying an hour after I finished reading the final word. You certainly have a talent and the skill of a great writer. I am certain that, even though I try to forget this work for my own sanity, I will not. Now I'm even more determined to give others the happy ending that...they would not. You have rendered a true catharsis of the classical age in this cold modern world. Good Job!

your story hurts beautifully. in the end it is clear that snape's sacrifice is as meaningful as potter's but is - again - denied the recognition it deserves.

Good story. I really enjoyed it, you developed it very well. Had me crying at the end :-)

Your stories are utterly amazing. I have read a few of them (while I should be studing for my chemistry midterm) and These are the second things of fiction (including movies and novels) that have ever made me tear up. Your grasp on the characters is uncanny and I look forward to your future writings. Brilliant.
