I've read this many times and I always feel touched reading the interaction between Mac & Stella... and I was just having a discussion with another author - Lily - about the use of hands as analogy for the relationship between Mac & Stella, and how it connects them, and I just want to say thank you for the wonderful imagery you've created here in this chapter.
