Fresh C 2007-10-14 ch 2,	abuseThe word "huh?" describes half the chapter. Yet at the same time there's a lot of good stuff in here to talk about. I won't talk about it too much though, since it's been a while since i've read the chapter and I'm more or less just writing this review to remind you that I'm reading. Favorite scene in this one had to be the Misato Ritsuko scene. There's something extreemly pitiful in seeing her fall so far. It really gets you. I also liked the vauge battle scene. In it's simplicity you've managed to give off a sort of horror that detailed explaination would not have produced. And the ending again makes me wonder what you're going to do with all this. I'm looking for that finale. And I'll have to check out some of that radiohead stuff. take care
Da-Guru 2007-10-10 ch 2,	abuseThis is one of the best, weirdest angel-Shinji fics I've read in awhile. I had a similar idea awhile back. I never wrote it because of other concerns in my life. But I had Shinji die against Armisael. And when he came back, he was ghostly, almost a figment of the other's imaginations. You're on my author alert now. I wanna see how many other braincells we share.
Zoro50 2007-10-10 ch 2,	abuseAs always this was a fun and fascinating read. The prose was excellent, and the subject matter intriuging. But I find that with all your fics. Half the reading time hs to be devoted to exactly what is going on, disciphering the the mystery. Well done sir.

Himonky 2007-07-13 ch 1,	abuseSome aspects of this I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around (in a good way), but I am sure of one thing. It's good. The beginning threw me for a minute. I got the "better to die in a bloody mess than in darkness" part, but didn't immediately grasp the Leliel aspect. The next scene, when Asuka dropped down next to him, I thought we were seeing right before the seventh angel. Confused me for a short bit, but now I can't believe I missed it. Prolonging Shinji's stay in Leliel and putting him in a coma afterwords is not something I'd read before. Consequences will be astronomical. Besides the near possible statement of Asuka impregnating herself on a brain dead Shinji, we see Misato's life has fallen apart. I'm openly wondering how others will react; Touji, Kensuke, Rei, Hikari, Kaji. One thing I would point out is how Asuka got very attached to him, without any effort, or even consciousness, on his part. Seems a bit strange to me, though I trust you'll have a good explanation for it. Asuka's pregnancy is quite a shock (especially if I'm right about how it happened), though the title did give me an idea of it. I wonder how Shinji really will react when (or if) the child turns out to be his. Gendo's lowering himself to that level is somewhat disappointing to me, because he's one of my favorite characters, but I'll oblige it. Ritsuko is not, in my book, the character Gendo would choose to interrogate Shinji like this. I wouldn't think she'd have the kind of experience in asking the right questions, at least not enough that she'd be picked by Gendo for this. Misato obviously couldn't do it, but...Kaji maybe? Shinji's eventual feelings of betrayal would've been interesting to read. A lacky also would've worked better IMO, but if they need to dislike Ritsuko then I guess they need to dislike Ritsuko. I like the bold text, sinister and menacing. I may have to give TS Elliot a read. I've heard of him somewhere, but don't remember where. This is a quite different take on the usual "demon possesses Shinji" idea, radically different enough that I think it might even start to make sense. I only say the "demon possesses Shinji" part for lack of a better explanation at the moment (though the Spiritual genre does seem to suggest this). Whatever it is, he's got something in him. Prose wise, very excellent. I could tell you spent a while on this even before I read the Author's Note. It flows well, the dashes, surprisingly to me, seemed to come off rather well (every other time I've seen someone else try to use them they seem to fail). Now, mandatory bugging by a My Own Personnal Revolution fan. What's the word, is this going to be your new target instead? Not complaining, I guess, but I'd like to see an ending to that eventually. As long as you get back to it eventually, I'm happy. Overall: Writing is some of the best that can be expected to be found on FFN. Plot is already moving along pretty quickly. Characterization of Shinji is very good, Misato is definately there, others are just beginning to pick up. Recommended. I will wait at least another chapter before favoriting. Can't quite kick another of mine off quiet yet, though we'll see. And if it ends up being longer than 3 chapters, then there's nothing wrong with that.
