Oh the angst! And it's all for Jiraiya! I love stories like this, where Naruto is an indirect focus of the story but the main character is someone else. It's even better when that main character cares as deeply for him as Jiraiya does. You have great writing style in this, it's very unique and easy to read! I love the characterizations, and the plot is off to a GREAT START. Great job, looking forward to more!

very well done. the dairy, first person perspective then flash back structure made things difficult but rewarding

absolutley floored. Extremely original and emotional. Loved all the touches from naruto's poison coma to Kakashi's waking terrors. top to bottom great. nicely written and conveyed much of the pain.
