This made me feel like crying, but grin like a maniac at the same time. I wish could write something with so much... feeling. It's like I know the characters more than I do when reading the manga. That's a great accomplishment.

Amazing, amazing work. You've written Kakashi so beautifully, in that everyone's not quite sure what he's up to and all. I adored his conversation with Iruka and Gai, haha. And Tsunade was nicely put in as well, with the "Whatever makes you sleep at night" comment. :P

And the fact that your chapters are so long and full of intent are great, too. I haven't a clue where you're going with this at all! But I can see Kakashi trying to right whatever wrongs he thinks he's made so far, by being a teacher, like his old sensei was to him. And you mentioned his father as well, too.

The part where he lost control of his anger and basically punched Sasuke in the face was fantastic, too. :D Kakashi's human, after all. ♥ The amount of thought put into the writing and all the details definitely put this on my favorites list. ^^ Good job!

This was a very good chapter. I laughed at Gai's theatrics, and snickered evilly at the thought of Sasuke getting humbled. The final scene you were talking about gave me goosebumps--there's this creepy, something-bad's-gonna-happen vibe to it. You're a killer with the cliffhanger!

Kakashi is certainly a very interesting and dynamic character, and I'm glad to see him written so well in this story. I read the last scene a couple times, as per your advising to pay close attention. There are some ideas on the significance, but these won't manifest until later chapters, I'm guessing.

The scene with Iruka made me laugh.
