I recently found the link to Tread Softly bookmarked in the folder I place stories I hope to, but have yet to read. As I began reading it I realized I had indeed read it before, but went ahead and reread it because I remember liking it quite a bit. I was wondering throughout the story why hadn't I moved it to the folder I keep stories I really like, then as I reached the end I was reminded it had a sequel. I don't bookmark discontinued stories, and although I suppose the first fic could stand on it's own, I was all like "No! Harry get your ** back to Snape already!" I tend to emotionally invest myself in good stories, so I'm touchy about ones that die. Anyways, your sequel hadn't been updated in a while, but it wasn't years yet, so I left the Tread Softly bookmark as it was to wait and see.

And, YOU'VE NOT DISCONTINUED IT!! :D I saw that you had updated and I was jumping for joy! I may not have critique or specific praise, as I have yet to begin reading Ashes of Time, but I wanted to express my happiness at finding that you are indeed still with this story and urge you on. :] ~Kai

Excellent chapeter. I've just spent the last three day reading Tread softly and the last three hours reading all of what you've written for Ashes of Time.

I am really enjoying your plot lines and can't wait for more, especially after the dun dun dun ending to this last chapter

Y'know, I could have sworn that I had put this on the alerts of both accounts, and it was on both my favs (which I check regularly), so I should have found out instantly when it updated, one way or the other three.

The fact that chapter 11 is finally chapter 12 disturbs me but well, I liked the Interlude :)

Before I get to actually reading the chapter, let me just scream and say "Holy Mother, you updated!"

This is the pace I want them coming at!! Good man. This chapter (11) was so enjoyable to read even though it's an interlude, and the ending was nicely cliffie-ish although I'd already read the next chapter. But that's because everything is just so compelling... harhar. And because you're a great writer, of course.

Gui was great, and so was Snape's potion-making enthusiasm. And everything to do with Snape. And Ginny and Aaron's story is a delight to read. :) Btw did you know that Milchtod gets about ten hits when you google it and one of them is AoT? I want a Milchtod.

Just so you know -- in case you're getting few reviews it might be because one can't review chapter 11 twice, and a lot of people reviewed chapter 12 when it was still chapter 11...

Anyway good job, can't wait to read chapter 13!!

Ugh, I don't know if I could hug or glare at you! Is this potion Sev is now developing of any importance for the plot? Or is it simply character developement?!
I've always liked characters who cry. I dunno why...
But I so want to know how the plot goes on!! What with Harry's murder being revealed and all. Please, keep up the good work! :)
