I'm very impressed by your works!! I only wish you didn't abandon this! I usually don't read stories that seem to be on hiatus but after I read Tread Softly I couldn't help myself. I needed to see Severus and Harry back together! If you ever remember this story maybe you could consider finishing it. It's such a brilliant story it deserves an ending! :)

I have just read both Ashes of Time until this chapter and all of Tread Softly and I am very much in awe of your skill. You write a mean story, I could not seem to bring myself to stop reading until I had devoured every word. I think you have written by far one of the best Harry Potter fanfics I have read to date. I thank you most humbly for being kind enough to share your talent with the rest of the world, or just crazy fanfic readers. Now I'm off to read your other story. I will be waiting patiently and impatiently for the next chapter of Ashes of Time, hopefully you'll have enough time and be slightly motivated from my kind words to work on it..."wink, wink, nudge, nudge" :D well nice showering you with praise now on to more fanfic...

Ok...I read this a year ago and loved it so much that I even wrote a fan fiction inspired by the somber, realistic, sweet in a very deceitful way the relationship between Severus and Harry was. I even told my readers "Go to read it because MY GOD, that guy knows how to write" It was somehow a futile attempt because my mother language is Spanish and then you know what language my readers speak -_-

I had hoped that somehow you would update; I mean, the only works that I've come to love because they are so In Character are yours and BC's Pantogogue (you really should read that one) But then I saw one of your LJ entries and apparently you don't want to update because you don't receive a lot of reviews; the adolescents read them for the sex, and maybe you are just to busy (but you didn't even bothered with a message saying "You know what **, I got better things to do to entertain your little brains with my holy mind. Go get a life" Some how that response seems plausible for the fact that you don't write for the reasons above)
Maybe my memory is going rusty, but in Thread Softly even the KISSES were managed to a minimum (that's why I loved both of them, they are not erotic in that sense, but in the management of the character and the deepness you added to them that even Joe Rowling lacked...hers was precise but with undertones that made it beautiful...but yours *sighs dreamily*)

I think it's kind of unfair because after a long time this particular work has 486 reviews with just 10 chapters...that's a lot in such a crowded fandom like Harry Potter. BC's Pantogogue has 32 chapters and 428 reviews...but she isn't complaining. I think that one is actually better because it's FINISHED.

Really, I think readers are quite mad but not because you don't update, but because you just can't sit, log in and leave a f*ucking message saying you just won't continue with the story (which is a shame, I'm sure that if anyone had the balls and force of will to take it on, it wouldn't be the same)

So think a little about this...it's obvious a writer doesn't write just for itself. But this is a contradiction...it's absolutely selfish and plain childish.

Just write a message and I'm sure no one will bother you...if they do, well then it's your fault for writing such splendid work and for not finishing it -_-

P.S. I'm very sorry for the bad English. I'm sure it's quite messy.

I am enjoying this sequel as much as the first! I am worried about both Harry and Sev...I really want to see them happy together at some point, and yet the angst and tension of the story is so delicious! I'm also concerned about the magnitude of Harry's powers and whether he will let the light side or the dark side of his soul be the dominant one. What will the ministry be forced to do? What will they be ABLE to do? It's all so nerve-wracking! Hope your schedule allows an update soon, but I know quite well how real life rears up and takes over the best of writing times!
