Very nicely done, and you depicted the characters well. It is extremely difficult to go from Manga or Anime to regular prose and be true to the characters without stilted dialogue and descriptions, so the fact that you have managed it so well is something you should be very proud of. I applaud you on it, as well as for a more thoughtful piece rather than a straight-to-the-point romance.

i really loved how you captured Shouko's character and personality through your simplistic writing style. i don't think it matters whether you've read a couple or all of the manga's of La Corda. What really matters is the connection you bring through your literature.
