And I like your characterizations on the lot; Rodney being so annoying and hypochondriac, John smug and cunning when wanting to leave the infirmary, and the ever-so-caring Carson losing his last nerve over his friends and the ill-fated day in general. When Elizabeth left his office I almost feared Beckett might make a dash for the nearest balcony...! Well done!

cat4444 2007-07-25 ch 2,	abuseThis is too funny! I particularly like Rodney's singlemindedness in hounding Carson to activate the device. Although Sheppard's escape attempts are a close second. Rodney quite obviously does not understand the meaning of the word "No" - big surprise there - but Sheppard eventually gets it as evidenced by his still being around when Carson goes to spring him. Although he could have remained because of Carson's threat to have him restrained and to keep him longer, which is more likely. You really need to continue this, especially since Carson can now be included in the betting pool (without his knowledge of course). And if one of the two front runners for the dubious "honor" of being the one to land in the infirmary just kinda sorta happened to bet on it being Carson, well, so much the better. Even more so if his ending up there was due to something that Sheppard/McKay did or didn't do or was a little too late in doing (accidentally of course - never intentionally). Bet Carson would bring out the REALY BIG NEEDLES next time the winner is his guest. So, in case you missed the part about continuing this, or I didn't make it clear enough - Please Continue! I need the laughs. Cath
