Jay Man 4/8/02 . chapter 2 Interesting twist I like the way you keep everyone in character ( Jyou might lie to hiimself but never to others as it goes against his primary trait). I am not sure if I like Jyou's wife, I despised the ending to 02. Anyway this is a great fic keep it up
PS: Update "Waves upon the sand" soon it's an awesome story. |
Krylancelo 1/25/02 . chapter 2Intresting, and I liked the name things. Some more would be nice, and please keep the rating the same. The 'odd mermaid' fic would make me happier if you added a few more good chapters. Caio. |
Ismini 12/13/01 . chapter 1I love this fanfic.
I love future fanfics in general, when everyone has a family, because most of them are angsty and dramatic and all...
But this is not a Jyoumi.
It's even better.
I love the way you picture Hanako. I'd already gotten a glimpse of her from "What I Can Get...", but this really analyses her emotional world.
And how she feels about Jyou. The doubts circling her. I think the Hanako-centred scenes are what I like about this fanfic most; you have talent in making your own characters, I've seen that already from Paper Moon.
Jyou is also pictured in-character, or as in-character as he can be at 30.
The title also fits perfectly to the fanfic. For the lies Hanako and Jyou keep telling themselves, and I'm pretty sure Yamato will follow soon after too.
It's sad, because I really wish this turned into a Jyou/Hanako. It's not finished yet, but I just know it will be a Jyouto from the setup in "What I Can Get...". But Hanako is a character worth discovering, I believe.
I just can't see how this could turn into a Jyouto and not spoil the plot anyway. Jyou alright loves Hanako, they have a child and Hanako also seems to be leaning between love and hate.
Whatever this is going to be, I'd like to see this finished before all your others, even "Canvas Sky"! I really like it...
P.S: The ironic part is that this is the first fanfic I read and makes me support a different couple other than Jyoumi and Jyouto that involves Jyou or Mimi! |
 fandomlurker 10/1/01 . chapter 2Luved the heart reference. |
Graveflower 9/30/01 . chapter 2*slowly closes her jaw and wipes away a single tear* Funny how really excellent writing can make you cry, even though it's not that sad? You did this wonderfully, I'm kicking myself for not reading chapter 2 sooner... The broken heart is such a beautiful passage, it's so remeniscant of a dream-like state of remorse, or something... I don't know, I'm tired. But this chapter was beautiful. |
Demon King Piccolo 9/20/01 . chapter 2What?You mean that you didn't name jyou's child after the couple? You know, yamasuke is short for yamato/daisuke.I thought that you did.Anyway,Really cool fic,and it's really emotional.Good fic. |
Betsy 9/4/01 . chapter 2Twisty... I love it, Musouka-san. It's really fun to try and puzzle out what everyone's motivations are. |
Betsy 9/4/01 . chapter 1Hanako's a very... interesting... character. For all you expect people to hate her, I somewhat sympathize with her. Or am intruiged by her at least... |
Pikachumaniac 9/2/01 . chapter 2Wow. That was... eep... incredible. _ I have no idea what to say now... |
Rachel Lynn 9/2/01 . chapter 2Musouka-san, you rock! And I love how this situation seems so realistic when I read it. You just do such an awesome job at writing people's emotions and their motivations for those emotions. And I love that you can think up situations that are as complex as this, but never lose the thread of the story or your characters in it. I feel horrible for all of them, but I really want Jyou and Yamato to be together even though I know it's going to hurt Hanako, whether she realizes it or not. Anyway, enough of my babble. Awesome, awesome chapter! Can't wait to see the next! |
Kymaera 9/1/01 . chapter 2 Musouka, you do such a wonderful job with this fic. Like most of the things you write, it's just fun to think about it and trying to puzzle out how things are going to happen. Because, with your stuff, I never really know. You do such a great job with details and plot twists and... everything. I was wondering when you were going to write more on this... I'm glad I got to read a little more of the story before I have to leave. I look forward to reading the whole thing when I return. |
 Kireii Neko 9/1/01 . chapter 1 HIYA!
I've been a fan of your fics since I started liking yaoi, it'll be like 4 months ; I didn't like it, I loved it. Hope u finish it soon, or I wont be able to write more, u the good writers inspire me(that's a bit pathetic). |
True Osiris 8/22/01 . chapter 1Very cool fic, Musouka! You better keep continuing it or else... LOL! I like the way you did Nanako's character and she is very interesting. When I first heard about your original character I never thought it would be done this well! Keep up the good writing and be sure to review my new (pathetic) fic as well! Ciao for now!
-Osiris the True (I don't know what I'm the 'true' of but I'm still the 'true') |
Graveflower 7/23/01 . chapter 1*blinks* Would *WOW* be eloquent enough? Prepare, a long review... This was fantastic, deep, vague, and it captured everything from all angles. I love the context you've put the wife in. Was the blonde guy Yamato? Cause if he was I guess the only constructive criticism I could give would be that the Jyouto was a bit of a distraction, because Yamato would know that Jyou was married, and that leaves out his entire perspective, which sort of leaves an bit of a hole in the end of the fic... but that's only if the blonde guy was Yamato. Anyways, an excellent, excellent fic *bows down in idolizing awe of your divine writing talents* You gave Jyou's perspective well, even without writing much from his POV. Maybe something from the blonde guy's angle? Just a thought- I love this, this is going on my faves, *waits patiently for more* |
Rachel Lynn 7/23/01 . chapter 1Eieeee! You posted this one! *does a happy dance* I love this fic! And I love how you explore Jyou and Hanako's reasons for getting married, for being in love, and I love the way that you write their rather complex relationship. I also love the way you develop Hanako as a character. She really is one of the best original characters I've ever seen. And that last scene in the cafe was killer! I can't wait to see the next chapter! *bounces happily* |
