That suicide attempt was different.

I almost cried becuz I was listening to my playlist then the piano version of Everytime We Touch (candlelight version) started playing while I was reading.

The narrative of this story is wonderful. Very poetic. And so moving! You freaking made me cry! On every chapter! Keep going, please! I need more!

It's so unlike her... yet I could see her doing this in the given circumstances.

A very nice start, and a strong finish in chapter 2- at least until further updates. ;) Beatrix is a character whom is not written about or delved in very much these days. I like your portrayel of her in your story though; tough, yet gentle and kind-hearted, even though that heart is slowly shattering. I find her very much in character, apart from her hard-core ways in the game. Sad though that she and Steiner have seemingly drifted apart here; they really do compliment each other in the long run, but I guess "Fairytales don't always have a happy ending" in some cases.

And poor Garnet- each day her reserve crumbles and her life fades a little more. She's handled so much bad news in her young life, its a wonder she can continue put herself through all this pain. But her cries will be answered eventually, so long as she keeps hope alive.

I hope to see an update when the time and your muse strike; keep up the excellent work and good luck!

That was a pretty good start. The characterisation is solid and the writing good. It felt like there was too much recapping going on though, which interrupted the flow of the scenes.

The writing was beautiful, and the backstory for Beatrix was a nice read. Her character was astonishingly in character, so I have no complaints about her.

The intake on Garnet was simply wonderful, and probably how she truly was during Zidane's absence. She's so in love that it really hurts to read.

This might sound odd, but I think I really like how you made Steiner. His own inner dilemmas are still being fought, and his relationship with Garnet is still very father-to-daughter.

Overall, I love the start, and I do hope you continue it in your free time or whenever you get a writer's block. I'm not fond of the whole pairing (if that's what you're hinting at), but that's for obvious fangirl reasons. ;) (Darn it, Beatrix... Will you ever just be mine?)

And your loyal fans are waiting as patiently as we can. Take your time with TCBT. It's no good to just rush through to get an update on.
