Pretty good story. It's an interesting idea. I wonder why Mike Mignola didn't think of it. Either way, I liked the part where Hellboy's in the maze and he just plows straight through it. I figure if Hellboy was in a maze, he'd just plow straight through it. I liked the influence from The Looking Glass Wars which is one of my favorite books. I also like the ending. I would like to see a sequel where Hellboy has to deal with the Hatter again. I hope to see it one day.

I loved your twist on Tweedele Dee and Tweedle Dum. And Hellboy's banter with the Red Queen was priceless.

However, I gotta point out, when Hellboy kicks the door in, you mention his boot. Hellboy has hooves, he can't wear boots. But we won't fault you for that after I messed up what BPRD meant.

I loved the Alice and Wonderland references, and how you twisted them into your story. The mushrooms. The Hatter/Hare Rivalry. And I got a kick out of Hellboy and the maze. You already know I love your stuff, but here's just another reminder.

Some pet peeve... What a way to die. Neat idea with the Hare though, can't say I'm surprised she sent the Jabberwock though... everyone loves the Jabberwock...

It always bugs me... They always make the Cheshire Cat the evil one... I always found him mischievous, not malevolent, and more worried about saving it's own skin than trying to kill various nasty beings. Especially huge, swearing, smoking, red ones. Ah well... it's a cool story so far. I'll read the rest, but I had to comment on it...it's a pet peeve. Tell me that isn't a pun... I so dearly hope that wasn't a pun...

Wow, pretty cool story! Usually I can't get through more than the first chapter of any given fic unless it's really good, so you should be proud ^_^ I made it this far and I'm looking forward to the rest. It's nicely paced- fast and not dragging- and written clearly, plus the concept is really interesting. Hope you'll do more.
