I thought this was plenty long, and I really enjoyed it. I love stories when either Aang or Katara are watching the other sleep. There are so many things they could be thinking about, and I think you captured most of them. Well done.

Aw, how great! Thank you so much for the Kataang! I love Taang, but nothing beats Kataang. Awesome job. The present tense really adds a nice touch. I have a one-shot written in present tense. Writing it in that style adds some sort of element that I can't quite explain, but it makes the story much more captivating somehow. Great job!

The only reason why I'm somewhat, not-really hesitating is due to the fact that I don't support Katara/Aang romance.

But that's why I love this. :D I suppose if I were Kataang, I would interpret it that way, and love it. But I'm NOT, and I STILL love it. I love their relationship, preferably platonic/familial wise, and you showed that perfectly.

Oh, that was beautiful! You should do Kataang more often you write it wonderfully! I agree with many of the things you made Katara think in this story. It always irritated me when people would say that hopefully soon Aang will become more fierce and he won't be afraid to hurt people anymore so he can kill Ozai. I really hate the fact that the whole weight of the world seems to rest on the shoulders of one gentle, innocent, small and kind boy. I feel so horrible because it seems like Aang's childhood is getting ripped away from him, as is the childhood and teenagehood of many of the other characters. It saddens me how they have to grow up so early and fast just so that they can survive. A lot of people don't seem to realize this but from this story I can tell that you do. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this oneshot, honestly its everything that I would want a Kataang to be. I love the little details you put in like the firefly which are really more intricate and complex things to add in but you made it fit in perfectly into the story. It was so realistic. I equally loved your description of Aang's small hands and the fine sand that is the world. It was simply beautiful! I'm sorry I can't stop gushing about this story I'm so happy you wrote a Kataang you have no idea! Your like my most favoritest writer but unfortunately you like Zutara and then all of a sudden you write a beautiful Kataang?! Can you imagine what it feels like? My favorite author wrote a Kataang! So anyways, basically you made my day. Well I'm going to end this now or else I'll probably go on forever, but thank you a million bazillion gazillion times for writing this. Thank you so MUCH!
