ok , I really hate when people make naruto having like the worst past ever but still he's happy. cause that not it. naruto in the manga had a hard past but his was NOT the hardest! gaara has it much much more worse than him. and sasuke even more worse than both of them at least no one tortured naruto mentally and forced him to see the killing of his family over and over again for hours.
naruto is an optimist but he's still human.

ok , sorry I'm ranting now , and this has nothing to do with how your story goes , I am a naruto fan I just don't like to read stories where they make his life sad beyound belive I mean who would hate a KID because his father saved him ?!!
that just illogical! I can understand maybe the mother cause she was so hit by her husband death but why the others! that's just not logical , it can't happen in real life.

aww... you little teaser you... i thought that there really was one more chapte or something like that. although i really liked how it really ended in the official last chapter... great job on this story... i really enjoyed it from start to finish... now on to the sequel...=^-^=

This was a really cute story! I've always liked the older Naruto and Sasuke pairing- evens out their dispositions a little :). I liked the development of both characters, but the occasional typo took away from the reading. It's certainly nothing that would require a beta, but a closer read over would do wonders (although I'm a little late to the party I suppose). You've got a very unassuming style, keep writing!

I'm curious if you've heard about an anime called Nodame Cantabile. Your conception of Sasuke as a musician devoid of passion and that scene when he first plays for Naruto made me think of it- the story's all about these music university students trying to make it through classes and become professional musicians. If you like classical music (especially piano) you should check it out.

Nice. It feels a little similar to Great Expectations, but with the good ending. Good job, although, if Itachi knew what was happening, why wouldn't he do anything? Like spying on his brother, or maybe even telling his "father"? Overall, pretty good.
