Great little piece, and cute as heck.

Completely buy-able, esp. Squall being picked on for his looks. Cloud's squalor-comeback was perfect, too!

I absolutely ADORE cute little kidfics, and that, coupled with the fact that you wrote this for ME... *ded*

I think my favourite part was definately at the end, when they start hassling eachother and calling eachother names and tackling eachother... and how that makes them friends now. XD It seems so silly, but it's so PERFECT and true to form. That's just how little boys are, testing eachother out and fighting, and if they're satisfied that they've found a match, they'll become friends.

Poor little Leon, all hiding and beat up. See, this is what I was talking about, you making me appriciate his character. It used to be that I would see that as totally out of character for him, even as a little boy, but now I can see where Leon has a vulnerable side, just like everyone else. And he's so quiet at times, so I can see him as the type to go off somewhere and brood over bad things that happen to him, the poor guy. X3

And little Cloud to the rescue. XD That was one of my other favourite parts, when Could is like... beating up on the bullies, Leon doesn't see it, just hears it. As the reader, I assumed that all was going to go well, and despite Leon's fears that they were "killing the blonde kid", Cloud was in fact going to come through and save the day by turing the tables and beating up on the bully kids. I was pleased to note that instead of using brute strength and clever fighting skills (which might be a tad too early for Cloud to have developed yet) he resorted to the tried and true tactic of kicking them in the privates. XD Again, it's those perfect captured moments of little boy-ness that make this story so charming and real.

So... yeah, I could think of a dozen other things to include in this review, but I'm thinking I should be done now. Save some space for everyone else, right? XD Plus, I need to go start colouring your picture, because it must be finished ASAP because I love you and you wrote me kiddie!CLC. GUH, I still can't believe it. Keep up the AMAZING work, I hope everything goes well in your real life outside of your wonderful stories, and I hope to hear from you soon! :D
