Nope, Canadian universities do not require the ACT or the SATs. Although to be honest I'm from B.C., not ON, so I can't 100% tell you what they do there, because here we just have ridiculous things called Provincials. Most universities just take your class mark without a test.

Anyways I was really excited you'd updated because I really love this story. It's driving me CRAZY how he hasn't been diagnosed yet (although I do realize it's realistic and part of the storyline, I do)... it just makes me so sad for Craig that he's got all this crap going on in his head and everyone just thinks he's a druggie or alcoholic when he's trying to self regulate with that.

wow, where to start? this was great, like being pulled on the journey. i really liked Jay in this, he sounded very Jay. i enjoyed the out of control confusion craig had, it was all very authentic sounding. your author's note was intriguing, too. what event is this? i can't wait to read it. (and a p.s. to you-i started the next chapter of "something brutal" and it will soon be finished...coming soon to a computer near you ;)

oh my god this was the best chapter yet! honestly, i was pulled in just like a movie, i can't tell you! the way this chapter pulls it all together is amazing, i wish i had better words to describe it, but i was pulled along and everything felt so authentic (by the way, nice work with the psych meds like xanax and benzo's and muscle relaxers like flexaril...did you look them up in a drug reference book or just use the internet?) back to the review, the tension in this chapter was quite nicely done, the sense that Craig was hitting rock bottom and the bipolar simmering under the surface of it all, making everyone back away. and i really liked joey's anger in this chapter, because we don't see enough of that, living with teenagers, especially traumatized mentally ill ones, is frustrating and scary and he would get angry with him, it is so believable and it worked in this chapter. how i wish this is what they did on the show, so much of the fanfiction is better than the show, and that's kind of cool.

Oh my lordy. What a riveting story! I am so sorry i haven't reviewed in a while. This chapter was amazing. also kind of upseting. I like the series of events that went down. You really showed the inner conflicts that plagued both craig and joey. You could deff tell Joey is at his "what the hell do i do" phase. What is he going to do? Also, i hope you incorporate the VC episodes into this. Anywho, dont give up. I love it.

This is AMAZING! I always had thought that they really didn't go as far as they could have in the episode and with the abuse story. I love Craig though, he's my favorite Degrassi character, and I've always loved his story.

I am amazed at this story. I am in adoption classes right now and you really capture all of the information they are teaching us about foster care kids. You capture the wants and needs and confusion of Craig better than the show ever did.

I am really impress. You even write about the confusion over birth parents vs. adoptive parents. I am wondering where you learned all this? Have you been involved in a similar situation or known someone who was?

I just want to say I am really impress and that this is a much more accurate view of this situation than most stories tell. Nice job.
