I don't usually enjoy second-generation fanfics, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I love your characterization, especially the way you portray Naruto as a teacher- there is a tendency to make him perfect that seems to be more present in second gen fics than anywhere else, and I think that his imperfections in Roots is one of my favorite things about it. I also like that it isn't one of the typical SasuSaku, SakuNaru or NaruHina generic-children-with-stupid-names that you've chosen for a main character.

That, and I'm damn curious about who Yoshio's father will turn out to be :p

Looking at the most recent update date, it seems unlikely that I can expect any more to the story, but I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed it and am saddened that it probably won't continue. Great job!

Oh My Frickin' God! I can't wait for the next chapter!! I've only just discovered this story among the archives and I'm seriously curious! Who the hell is Yoshio's father?! I thought for sure that it was Kankurou!!

The characters have excellent development! I think one of my favourites is Akiko. She and Yoshio seem to get along, a lot better than Rikyu, that's for sure. Again, it's completely amazing. I think I spotted a little ShikaTema in there somewhere? My eyes are bulging at the moment. I honestly cannot wait for the next chapter.

I'm surprised at the depth you have given your story, it's just awesome. This is probably one of the most detailed future-centric Naruto stories out there (of course by future-centric, I mean when the main characters is one of their sons or daughters, etc). Also, I like the fact that you also give Tenten's point of view and story. I also like the way you make the story the littlest bit more complicated when you change point of views and time.
This is truly a great read. I'm glad I continue reading your story.

I'm still wondering who on earth is Yoshio's father...either way this will be interesting...I wonder if Neji is the father...then again his honour and pride as a Hyuuga and Tenten's teammate wouldn't allow it...update!

I'm confused, is tenten pregnant again or are those flashbacks? is it to much to ask to have the word "flashback" or italicize the paragraph, or do SOMETHING to indicate just what is going on.

I love the new chapter, but I hate not knowing... its making me crazy!! You're running out of characters for the father to be. I was almost postitive it was going to be Kankuro... oh well, I'm used to being wrong. Is it maybe an akatsuki member? Hm...
