That was a good story.

I was saddened to see only you authored only two pretender stories, as I'm highly appreciative of your writing. Your depiction of Mr. Parker in this story, appropriatly tittled, was astounding. Not many people have such an understanding of this complex man.

Now i'm off to read The Substance of Things Hoped For, which i'm sure is just as compelling as this!

Liked your Mr.Parker fanfic. He does seem like a hard guy to love, but the fact that Miss Parker does love him is indisputable.

Makes one wonder what Catherine Parker ever saw in her husband, doesn't it? Perhaps like your story seems to indicate, he changed when his wife was "killed", though supposedly it wasn't REALLY in the elevator, but shot by Raines after Ethan was born, right?

BTW, I really love that Billy Joel song, "Goodnight My Angel"! It is so sweet and beautiful. Again, Great job, A!

Interesting- it's not often that you find fics from Mr Parker's perspective. Personally, I think that he's a bit more of a jerk with Miss Parker than how you portrayed him, but it's not a big deal. Maybe he does really care for her. I really enjoy your style... it's very descriptive. All in all, very good fic. You're making me think, and that can only be a good thing. :-)
