This is a really good piece of work. I like the way you've looked at a possible expansion of the Mallard family, and Gosalyn's feelings about the whole situation. I imagine it would be hard to go from being the only daughter of a single father to a family of four (especially considering she's adopted, and of an older age). I like how you keep everyone seeming like themselves, despite the seriousness of this piece and the general silliness of the show itself. The ending is pretty sad, but we all know that it'll work out in the end...right? RIGHT?! D:

You did a great job. Kudos to you! Now I'm off to see what else you've written.

The story does bring up an excellent point about what would happen if Darkwing Duck did marry and had children of his own "flesh and blood." After Gosalyn has pretty much lived with Drake for a few years and she has his undivided attention and love, she would feel quite jealous about Drake marrying and having children. Not to mention all the insecurities she would feel because as the story brought out, Erica is his baby and Gosalyn was adopted. That's where Drake should take the time to comfort and let Gosalyn know that no matter what (NO Matter What!! Song by Badfinger! My Goodness!!) she will always be Darkwing's number one girl, Day After Day!! (Another Bad Finger Song! Day After Day!! Like Babs Bunny, Sometimes I just can't help myself *rofl* *rofl* *rofl* *rofl* *rofl*

You know a lot about Darkwing Duck and his relationship with Gosalyn!! Great job!

this is really, really, quite sad. Even I'm near tears. I would like to see what this could come out off. 1 of my favortie stories ever. period.

So, Gosalyn's feeling alienated now that Drake's got a family of his own. This lack of attention from her dad must be brutal on her. At least she has 1 person left to turn to. Her neighbour & her best friend, Honker Muddlefoot. Perhaps with Drake & Morgana devoting so much time to Erica, Gosalyn can spend more time aroud Honker, granted Honker didn't get in trouble because Gosalyn spent so much time batting with him. Either way, Honker may see more of Gosalyn now that Erica is around, do you think so? Well, anyway, update soon.

You're not going to continue this one? This is so emotionally true to the feelings that children often get. Very nice work. It's very sad that Gosalyn feels that she is an outsider in her own family. I can only hope that a talk with her father and Morgana would help her to feel better, if not them then time would help her adjust. Once again very awesome, and sad, one-shot.

Aww... Poor Gosalyn... I like this though. It's nice (well not really) to have something other than fluff around. Espescially one with DW and Morgana married.

Wow, another great story, and this one was yet another take on a situation or relationship that most people would gloss over or not even notice. Too bad you only made this a one shot, because I could see alot of potential to take this further and see how the Mallard family worked around and with Gosalyn's issues, or would they be glossed over and ignored until there was a point of no return with Gos and the rest of the family had to deal with the peices that were left.
