Okay, first I must say that this story made me laugh more in the span of an hour than I have in the past few months. In fact, it may have made me laugh a little too much... but! So worth it. I spent more time laughing than reading, though the jury's still out on whether that's a good or bad thing.

Near the start, when it was made apparent that Tifa, and apparently Zell and Seifer, mistook Roxas for a girl, I almost died laughing right there. Especially with the dialogue between Roxas and Tifa, and then there was the mental image with it! And then, enter Axel; beginning not from when he first appeared, but from when he was introduced. When he revealed the fact that he knew that 'Roxy' was a he- and the events that followed, I went into another fit of laughter. Though I was surprised at Roxas, how can you share a class with someone like Axel, but not remember him? You don't remember everybody, but this is AXEL. Then from the point where you find out Tifa and the other workers of Seventh Heaven knew Roxas was male all along, all the way to the end. I laughed until I cried when I read it; I mean, they were betting on how long he'd hold out? So cruel, but still hilarious. I can only wonder though, did anyone every tell him that they had him figured out (beyond the story's end)? If they did, they'd probably face the wrath of the butter knife.

Speaking of butter knife, that was one of the little things that seemed to never get old throughout this story. It seemed to send me into a fit of giggles each time it came into play. ...Except when they referred to the pianist's thumb, that just made me wince. Just a little. Now we really know that Roxas doesn't take shit from anyone. Except Axel maybe. And the way you brought the two of them together was flawless, to me. Meeting, mini-fallout, friendship, compromising situation due to Axel, maintained friendship with awkward situations due to Roxas' sexual frustration, sexual frustrations getting the best of him, and we end up with indescribably great AkuRoku.

Okay, I should probably wrap this up before I write out a whole novel on how excellent this one-shot was, because there will never be enough words to describe HALF of how outstanding it is.

Lounge-singing Roxas will always hold a place in my heart, now, too. I adored this, though I'm only slightly embarassed to admit I read it on my cell phone out of desperation for internet. I love everything you've written, they're all lovely, but I think I especially like this.

I'm absolutely in love with this story. And with your writing. You're a genius, seriously.

I haven't even read the first chapter yet but MAN! The summary was just so funny. SHOW TUNES! and the parody of the bible. EPIC! I had to stuff a spoonful of pudding in my mouth in an attempt not to sound like a maniacal laughing evil person squatting in her chair.
