What a great story! The conversation between the characters is really well written, and you picked up the common ground between the two of them perfectly. There are some really nice, tender moments - Lennox's explanation of his bravery in dealing with Blackout and his fear of losing time, and especially the last bit, when Ironhide sends out the song. I wish I knew what the song was! I really enjoyed this!

This is a good fic. I liked how Ironhide and Will could relate to each other as fellow soldiers.

What I want to know is, what's the song that Ironhide heard when he left the Lennoxes and sent into space, hopefully to Chromia?

Aww! That was such a sweet conversation between Ironhide and Lennox. They're just two normal guys (a human and a bot) simply talking about life. Great job!

Great little fic. I could really see them discussing all that, going from the soldierly topics to the more personal as they travelled and got to know each other a bit better.

Thank was a simply beautiful story that really captured Ironhide's personality wonderfully. He may be a tough guy on the outside, but on the inside he's a softie with a spark of gold. Very in-depth & enjoyable, with just enough dialogue to give it a nice, easy flow. Excellent.

Reading this kind of brought up what Optimus said so eloquently in the movie and in the novelization:
