This was beautifully written, and it seems that the rest of your works are equally amazing. I'm sorry that I've just now stumbled across this story (almost two years late!) to review it. Jean and Emma have a unique relationship, and I've never seen a writer capture it as well as you do. Your Phoenix/Emma was brilliant.
