Hasn't Adora, while a force captain for the Horde, killed people in battle, plus she helped to torture and enslave a planet. She more than Adam knows the feeling of having the blood of others on her hands, and both of them did not kill by choice (which is why she is on Etheria fighting with the rebellion instead of being with her family in order to right some of the wrongs she herself committed).

I keep coming back and re-reading this story. It is so good! I honestly didn't want it to end.

compassion for your enemies is a good trait, and hardly beyond comprehension, i'd say. but choosing that over your loved ones is a choice most people would not make, and for good reason. it's not necessarily admirable. i suppose in the eternian universe, it works out that way, but i can't help but wonder how they expect to deal with evil if they refuse to get rid of it? ah well.

i like he-man fanfics, even the cartoon, but i must admit he-man himself annoys the hell out of me. "i won't take a life, even skeletors?!" geez, he's worried about the lives of his friends and family, has been fighting the man for YEARS, knows the enemy has no compulsion about killing, and yet he refuses to actually fight. what does he expect, that he'll capture the man one day and manage to actually keep him locked up?! that he'll repent and change his ways?! honestly; even the most honorable person will kill in a war or life and death situation if they have to. 'least they better, or they'd die. by refusing to kill skeletor he's putting the bad guys life above his, everyone he loves, and everyone he could potentially save one day. honestly, the boy needs a kick in the head.

i feel kinda sorry for adam; no one's giving him a break, especially teela. trusting someone with your heart doesn't mean believing they'll never keep secrets or never hurt you; it's about taking that chance and forgiving whatever might happen because you love them and it's worth it.

oh geez. typical attitude of the he-man universe, but so ridiculous i actually had to double-take when i read it. :)

gods, the woman was harsh with him. it's a damn miracle that he managed to go 6 years with this farce without out and out lying, and that's the only reason she's placated?! the way her father dealt with her was better; its' understandable that she's upset, but they don't owe her anything. adam had a damn good reason for keeping her in the dark and for her to turn her back on him like this is awful. some best friend.

silly girl, it's not love she feels for he-man; not true romantic love anyway. you simply CANNOT feel that for someone you don't actually know, no matter how much you admire their qualities or are attracted to them physically or idolize them. now adam, though she doesn't know his big secret; she still knows him; has forever. he's her best friend, making the love she feels for him genuine. foolish girl doesnt' know that. ya can't be in love with two people; doesn't mean much if you are

Omg I love this story. In every chapter you write you give each character a well rounded personallity and also show loyalty despite on how people start to realize it is Adam that is He-man. It kind of makes them see why he was chosen. Awesome!

The story had a wonderful flow to it and you captured the character's personalities perfectly. I can easily see Skeletor taking advantage of learning Adam's secret but not telling anyone else. Just as I can see Adam sacrificing himself to save an enemy despite everything.

Another character I have no problem believing would act that way is Zodac. I don't blame Adam for getting a little upset about the whole test thing. For someone who's supposed to be a friend Zodac can be a real jerk sometimes. (even more so in the 200X line)

I look forward to the next one. I'm eager to see how you handle Hordak. Especially if he should learn Adora's secret!

That was amazing! You are such a gifted writer and of course I hope you continue this story! The reason He-Man always meant as much to me as it did was because of Adam and well this story put my childhood feelings into brilliant words. Awesome job.
