It was wonderfully written, and I could just IMAGINE Tonks kissing him before the dementors got to him. That was a nice touch. :D And... what else to say? I really, really enjoyed reading it.
lyin' 2007-08-08 ch 1,	abusesaw the title, had to read it- love lady of shalott. and it's perfect. so i haven't read enough to give the statement the weight it deserves, but this is simply the best lupin/tonks story i've read. or admittedly, could dream up. her kissing him before the dementor could- FABULOUS. madam rosmerta's warning, etc., and snape was a fun addition- but their conversation was wonderful and a fabulous, absolutely believable set-up to book 6. oh, lupin and tonks- and poor teddy... :(

ChloeBowie 2007-07-20 ch 1, anon.	abuseI liked it! I'm a pretty big Tonks/Lupin shipper, and it's nice to find a story that isn't completely blatantly sexual about them. It's also quite well written. It would be interesting to continue this with a little more of a plot, though. 8.5/10

Instead, I decided to read a little fan fiction to help me cope with the remaining hours and found yours to be really great. Love the Tonks/Lupin pairing and I like how you took it to a different angle than most. Their actions, esp. Lupins, is in character and very believable. Probably one of my favorite "version" of how their relationship developed. Anyway, just thought I'd comment on your wonderful fic.

liz 2007-07-18 ch 1, anon.	abusethis was a beautifully written piece and you really went into the complexity of a relationship with a werewolf - further than the reasons rowling gives in book 6. i loved it. but that aside - i think what sets your characters apart is not just how well you write tonks and remus, but how spectacularly you wrote snape. most people just make him a git like malfoy, but you really got into his subtle sneering and quietly snide comments. “Hence Nymphadora’s tender ministrations,” Snape observed scornfully. "Nymphadora's...attentions" beautiful. my hats off to you.
