I was surprised by the amazing arc the story had-the Master going from just hating the Doctor to to making sure he's still alive, but still hating him... guh.

Very in character. You have my utmost respect.

Ahhhh, this is the best Master/Doctor fic I've ever seen. Not even necessarily because of the shipping sort of undertones, just simply because of the magnificence that is your conception of the Master - all that megalomania, all that madness, all that desperate want and desire, and you convey it so brilliantly in these snippets. I'm absolutely dying of jealousy, really.

I'd love to quote my favorite lines, but I legitimately loved eacjh and everyone. How's this, though - this: "listens to the TARDIS singing him a lullaby" is the one that was closest to making me choke up.

Its all rather insane, so completely contradictory, and I love it. You captured the (insane) Master quite well, his fixation with the Doctor, his mental processes, and his emotions. Very well done.

You captured the Master in his very essence, the confusion and insanity so tangible, especially when he wants the doctor to feel the drums, then says he should be spared of them.

The constant need to win over the doctor, yet the whole time he needs him at the same time. I don't knoow.

You've written it so well, I feel like I should delete my whole favourite stories list to make sure that yours is there :P

Easily the best Master-centric fic I have ever read. Excellent characterization, the kind you simply do not see outside of the show itself. You've captured the very essence of the character, bravo.

Absolutely amazing in every way, and sadly I really dont know what else to say.

Stunning. Love that the Master's behaviour is so erratic because, really, he has no clear idea what he wants.

Gorgeous. Really. A wonderful exploration of some of the subtleties and complex condradictions of their relationship and history, and prose that flows like water, uninterrupted, nothing to jar the reader out of the experience. A forget-to-breathe piece if ever I've seen one. And structured as a collage of short scenes/snippets- a writer after my own heart! :3
