This is very sad and moving and just... A compelling read. I'm anxious to find out how Jayne will cope with losing a limb.

All I can say is wow! Very real, and very intense. I don't think I breathed the entire way through. This is an amazing piece and I hope to read another update soon. My mind is reeling with possibilities of where it will go from here. How will Jayne cope with not being whole? Will he still be able to work? I'm sure he will wonder if River can still love him now that he is no longer "what he used to be". So alot of emotional toil for him, which I'm excited to see how you will have him deliver/deal with that. Update soon!
