What a terrific story!! Dare I call it a masterpiece? Sure, why not! Great characterizations. Loved the fact that John would teach his boys to fight well but also teach them proper manners by not allowing them to fight in school (also kept questions and problems to a minimum that way too). It was wonderful that John would have total confidence in Dean’s skills and would allow him to teach the bully a much-needed lesson, even though Dean could have done it without the permission of his father. “No lethal moves”... three little words but filled with so much info about the training and skills the boys acquired.

Again, absolutely terrific job on this; well-written and well-paced. Thank you so much for sharing.
