Wow, I got so into this story. So far, it's great. Even if you followed the plotline of Book 4 a bit, you didn't take any of the lines from it, and rewrote them yourself. I can't wait to see how this turns out. This will probably be one of my most closely-watched stories now, because I really like it so far and hope to see what happens. I don't review often, but I wanted to this time to request that you please write more! It looks like you haven't updated it for a while, so I'm really hoping that you do, because I'm eager to read the next chapter. Don't discontinue it, we need more YukixKyon stories and this is the third one I've actually seen! Please write more!

I really like this concept - a world where the Melancholy just suddenly dissappears. I'm all for unique stories and like some cases of Yuki/Kyon - So it would be awesome if you're continuing this story!

I'm not here to insult you or anything, but in my own opinion I'm not so hyped up for your story as everyone else might be. Now, I'm not a great writer myself, but your story did involve much of Book Four as a guideline. I think that's not a bad thing, because it allows for logically expeced buildup of the story. But it's not good it the fact that it does happen to be unoriginal. However, I know this was probabaly done to move the story along, but I really don't see Kyon as the kind of person to do anything presented to him immediately unless strictly forced. In other words, I believe the fact that Kyon decided to fill out the Literary club sign up form immediately was a bit out there. Nor would I ever expect Kyon to pinky swear with anyone ever. However, despite my seemingly annoying complaints. I'm really looking foward to reading the rest of your story and I hope you craft it quickly.

Alright, this is great! Echoing a lot of other reviewiers, I really liked book 4, really like Kyon, really like Yuki, and really like your writing. It does have a sense of deja-vu about it -- it's been too long since I actually read book 4 to tell how much you diverged already, but things seem to have gone roughly along the same lines so far; still, very well told and has a lot of promise.
