Cool story loved the pace and back and forth between the characters

This was another very good story. I am glad that I have went back and read some of your earlier stories. This is another one that pulls at the heart strings. I like the way it ended but I would have almost liked one more chapter but I think it would have take something away from the story. Thanks for another good one.

What a great story, seriously! Loved the angst and the hurt!Dean in here, and Sam cared so much for his big brother.

Maybe English I must speak when review I must LOL :D - Just looked at my previous review ... my English is delicious ROFL :D - I love the jump from Sam's perspective to Dean's in this chapter, and OMG, you're breaking my heart, poor Dean, always trying to protect his baby brother! Wonderful stuff (sobs)

It was fun to go back and read this early fic by you. I don't think I lurked this one way back when - I know I would have remembered it. The Eater of Souls was an impressive bad guy - loved Sam trying to use the smell to remind him of what it was, and its pull being so strong, even that started to lose its ability to keep him grounded. Nice, tight story, a 10 on the angst 'o' meter, great hurt, and thought setting this just after Something Wicked was inspired.

From this vantage point, I can see echoes of this in your later fiction and echoes in this of where you might go.

I wonder which cassette he destroyed! LOL. I can see it now - 'You know how I said we have to talk - I, I, Dean, I broke Pink Floyd. I broke The Wall. Can you ever forgive me?'

Aw, poor Dean.

I LOVED that it really was Dean that Sam was hearing in his head. Bet the creature wasn't counting on that, huh? Low blow, using Jess and Dad to do its dirty work. Loved that Dean could feel Sam's heart beating, could hear him, even when in a coma, and that he fought hard to wait for his brother to come back. And of course, loved the sweet brotherly moment at the end.
