I haven't read about the Wizard of EarthSea in..oh, maybe 25 years? Loved it and the two following tales.

I saw Tehanu in the bookstore but didn't dare buy it for fear someone's disapproval.

Would appreciate a quick summary of that novel?

Oh, I love this! You have no idea how I've been wanting to see Earthsea fics on ff.n. And this is just a fun story; with, like Le Guin's work, potential for deeper mystery. Me like! Oh and since you're a fan, I thought I'd ask: have you read her new collection, "Tales from Earthsea" yet? It has a post-Tehanu Roke story that involves another dragon-maid, plus we get to learn more of our Patterner and Doorkeeper and a whole other bunch of crap. Plus a story of the founding of Roke. Anyway, if you already have it, sorry to bore you. But I loved this fic (Ged/Tenar forever!); please continue! (PS. I can't wait for the Other Wind either!)
