It's a beautiful story and a beautiful epitaph. It was a wonderful closing to the life of a brave character.

Wow. Such loveliness packed into such a brief story. Well said and deserving of our dearly missed Potions Master.

Wow... just... wow... that is so sweet. I love it how Harry burried Snape in Godric's Hollow, right next to Lilly... It made me cry so hard.

I've read a lot of other "Harry buries Snape" but yours is quite good. :) Thanks for posting it.

That was very good and very emotional. I really liked the bit about getting the flowers from a potions supplier. Well done

aw :) I can't even find the most appropriate words to use to respond to it. it's sweet, in a sad sort of way.

A very well-done take...Everything is so appropriate; if only JK had given him this much.

thanks!
it was very sad that snape died in the book despite all his sacrifices to keep 'lily's son' safe...
thanks for the wonderful story!

"When he discovers your kindness, Severus will, of course, be mortified regardless of what you do."
Indeed!
Great story. :)

Nice! Good style, and not too cheesy (which is hard to do, and a reason why I shy away from writing a Snape epilogue myself. I just love the character that much.)

Two things, though:

One, why would anyone need to claim Snape's body? He's the Headmaster! No-one was supposed to claim Dumbledore even though he has a living brother.

Two, I'd like to remind people (I always do :-)) that bravery isn't the monopoly of Gryffindors, and that Slytherins don't have to be cowards just like Gryffindors don't have to be brave (Pettigrew, anyone?). Gryffindors just have to VALUE bravery over everything else.
