I actually think Severus hated Harry because, Harry was an exact replica of James except for his eyes which were Lily's. Severus only loved and cared about one person and that was Lily, I don't think he thought of Harry as his son, because he was like James personality-wise and in physical appearance. Glad you gave Severus a happy ending anyway! :)

Lovely story! I'm going through the same thing and it's horrible. SS has been my favorite character since I finished reading Philosopher's Stone, so I'm extremely hurt. Thank you for helping us ease our pain!

I really wanted him to have a happy ending, but what Lily says here is a lie. She seemed faithless and shallow in canon; her amusement at his humiliation and her crack at his worn old undies seem so much nastier now we know she'd grown up with him.

aw... yeah, i think Snape deserved a happy ending. and he got one, in a way, i suppose... he saw Lily's eyes before his death after all. *smiles sadly* Chapter 33 was the most beautiful chapter i've ever EVER read. it made me cry...

as for your fanfic, it's very peaceful, and comforting. makes us feel better after HP finally comes to a close.

I am quite upset that JK killed off Snape. I've always thought he was on the good side... but it wasn't until HBP that I really fell in love with him. And I too haven't been able to think of anything else except Snape related things since Saturday. He deserved Lily more than James... poop on you JK! Loved it btw...

I always liked/was intrigued by Severus, and I like Grapish fics a lot, but now I falt this need for Sev and Lily together.

I totally agree. Jk gave him such a horrible life, making him fall in love and then fixing it so he couldn't have her... he really does deserve to be happy. And like you, my mind is totally filled with Severus and Lily. It seems just so, I don't know. I don't know how I felt, but it made me cry. A lot.
Anyway yeah. Good story. :P
