Beautifully written, horribly sad. It does fit in well with Deathly Hollows. But speaking as a dedicated H/D slash fan - I'm hoping that Deathly Hollows doesn't generate only "they can never be together" angsty type H/D stories. I'll stick to the AU with them happily ever after if that be the case.
Sorry to stick you with my mini-rant. I did enjoy your story - but I'm a "happily ever after" type person.
