Aw, very cute. Jack/Sarah need more love and I think you did this just right. I liked that you made a reference to that Sarah is proper and she is the type of gal to who won't cross boundaries. There isn't anything wrong with that and too many people condemn her for it.

I think one of the best things about this fic is that it is short, but it's so deeply heavy that it feels long. It's hard to explain, but it feels longer because of the effective wording and the reader wants to drink in every word so he or she goes slower. That's the best I can do at explaining it. ;)

i was definitely not expecting to like a story where jack is paired with sarah, but you surprised me. this was very well written, and you have a great portrayal of sarah. great story. great job :)

Way to give Sarah her due. There's a great vicariousness here -- the fangirl in me definitely reads this and pretends to be Sarah. You incorporated a lot (characterization, historical detail, movie references) in just this little oneshot. Really nice work.

Good lord, Shade. I mean really, good lord. Sweet suffering jesus. That was just plain beautiful. There are few one shots out there that can really tug at my heart, really make my eyes go a little wide, that can pull a little breath from me and make me go "oh...wow."

This is one of those few. Simply beautiful. Please keep up your revival.

aww, shade.. that was so, so lovely. everyone always forgets sarah, and when they remember her, she's put in such a negative light.. so thank you for creating this little vignette that shows that there was, after all, a reason that these two got together in the movie, and it's so, so lovely.
