Janzo the Ashbringer 2008-07-05 ch 1,	abuseIn case you haven't noticed by now you have received over thirty reviews for a single chapter, a feat which only the best and most eagerly awaited fanfictions obtain, thus you should do your readers a favour and commence in writing and posting further chapters... layman's terms, UPDATE DAMMIT! We're all waiting! I must admit that you write a damn good there was anything wrong with it, I am far too blinded by the excellence of your writing to see it. I admire the Hikaru Gosunkugi perspective in this chapter, and the overall change in characters as the story moves along. Though drastic, all the changes come through development, not some "hey I just had a life changing experience and now I'm never going to be who I was before!" The way you portray the characters they are who they are, and remain that way. Whatever changes them alters them around their original personality. Kuno still spouts poetry and believes in his own honour, and Hikaru is learning how not to be a weakling. Unlikely though the trio is, I can see they're in for the time of their lives. Please do us all a favour and keep writing.
Penterghast 2008-03-26 ch 1,	abuseWow. I found a link to your stories just today. I read a couple of the one-shots, then dove straight into this ones predecessor. Then into this. Now, I'm considering reading through the other stories. I don't know how to critique your work, but I'll try. You do descriptions well, you seem to do everything fairly well, but maybe I'm just jealous that you've written a fine story when I find it such a challenge to even begin. Having said that, the ending of the last one got a bit muddled, I lost track of how long it'd been very quickly. This one... well, I'm going to be very keen on seeing how the heck Ranma can (if he can) win the Tendos back. Really, that scene will be... interesting. Especially as I have the feeling he'll have to accept both sides of himself for that to be the case... I'm also very interested in how you portray Genma, as someone that is not entirely worthless, but still a bad parent... Far too many people are willing to overlook him entirely - especially his martial arts. I hope he plays a bigger role in this, or even a small one, I'm curious to see how things continue. That also goes for the Tendos. And Ryoga. Gah, this thing has me so entranced I can't even edit it properly. Hmph. I'll try again later, perhaps, when I'm a little bit less "Hallelujah!"-ish. I would like to say that you're one of the better writers I've read on this site, and hope you continue writing with earnest. I am waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter, after all. If, by any chance, you do (or have) end up quitting fanfiction, please note it. I have the feeling I'd wait years to see this thing update, just because it's so far above the majority of fanfiction. Deepdream 2008-01-09 ch 1,	abuseIn just two days I read Tendo-Saotome Anything Goes and now this sequel. And you know what? I love the story and the way you potrait the characters. Especially how you put Kuno in a new light instead of making him the fool he's always perceived as. I really like the Kendoist - don't ask me why - and I'm kinda sick of always reading about him being a pushover and a jerk and all that stuff. Because he isn't. He's insane to a certain degree and he might not be the fastest but nevertheless he's a great martial artist. Another thing is that you've included Hikaru. Finally someone who does not use him as some kind of lame excuse for Ranma finding himself in an alternate universe or something. This time he gets the chance to train the martial arts himself and to become something more than a means to an end. Just another thing before I'm putting an end to my review - I really liked the way you described the relationship between Akane and Ranma. Don't get me wrong it's not just seeing them kissing as girls - even if that was quite entertaining. ;-) No, what I'm refering to is that you made their relationship somehow much more mature. They were not two stupid kids fighting each other. Instead they had to deal with real problems like the rumors about them being dykes and the fear of someone discovering Ranma's curse. In fact you've managed to keep them in character but also changed them to the better. Good job. It's just that I'm missing Genma - what has happend to him? - and what's up with Shampoo and Mousse? And what's going to happen to Ukyo when she comes to Nerima and does not find Ranma there? Now I guess such are questions for another day and for you to answer in future chapters. Bye Deepdream

I hope I will get more clues of a possible romance between Ryoga and Ranko(Ranma). Too bad it does not say anything about romance... Hopefully you will start the next chapter soon! Also maybe make a Epiloge for the Koi Rod Love spell fanfiction.

The ending of that story and the begining of this one blend well. I still feel very sorry for ranma after that emotional roller coaster of an ending, but I hope that this story continues. I was trying to think of something critical to say about anything I've read so far, but nothing really comes to surface. IT'S THAT GOOD!
Tari F. 2007-11-15 ch 1,	abuseStrangely enough, I've read through a number of your other works without ever going through 'Tendo Saotome Anything Goes.' Not really sure how that worked out. Now that I've read it, though, I'm eagerly anticipating more of Juketzuzoku Fu. True, the characters aren't really their canonical selves, but your stories revolve around the relationships and interactions between your characters, all of whom feel natural (and can be traced back to some root in the canon universe, to some degree or another). Honestly, I like your characters more than most depections of them in other stories (and, in some sense, more than the actual Ranma 1/2 characters themselves). Good luck endeavoring on this epic tale. =P Can't wait for more. (Hmm, maybe I should've just said that first and left it short...) -Tari

H3Knuckles 2007-10-30 ch 1,	abuseHeh, I don't normally leave reviews; if I don't like it, I don't like it, and if I do like it, I rarely have anything to say except that I like it. That said, I really, really like your stories. You have a remarkable talent for featuring heavy relationship drama, without ever turning into emo ang-fest type garbage. Reading TSAG, there are scenes towards the end I just can't read in one sitting because I'm so emotionally invested in the story, and it's so... overwhelming?... that I need to take little breaks. What else can I say? I'm a big fan. Argh! Cliffhangers! You once said you wouldn't be posting this until it was fully written. If that's the case please, please start updating faster! :P

That's especially ironic, considering how much I enjoy them. ^^ Just a note before we get to the story itself...your notes indicate that you put a bit of research into the Bayankala range, as well as that general area in China. That's good. In fact, that's great. I've always enjoyed rather realistic fanfics. Well, realistic in some ways at least. Disregarding magical curses and all that, mind you. But I digress. The thing I would like to note is that you seem to indicate that Nerima is a fictional place. What most Ranma fans don't realise is that Nerima (all too often spelled Nermia by fanfic authors) is an actual district in Japan. What more can I tell you? Not much...so I guess my point is somewhat moot, but...just thought I'd point that out in case you wanted to do a little research for any Akane scenes (I kid, I kid :P) As for the story itself, it's a good start. I do, however, feel more than a little bad for Hikaru. It's not that he's not cared for. Ranma and Kuno do show that they care, but he's still what I would consider the odd man out, which is a little odd considering that he seems to be the main protagonist in this chapter. Since he's probably going to need to be rescued, I'm assuming that the viewpoint will change next chapter, but I would still like to see Hikaru have some moments with Ranma (I'll consider the bath incident to be an appropriate moment with Kuno ^^) Also, nice little foreshadowing with the whole Shampoo line. Well, I eagerly await more. Thanks for what you've written so far, though.

I think what I'm most interested in is the slight relationship/non-relationship between Kuno and Ranma and would definitely enjoy seeing what happens there. Though I'm sure it'll stay more as just a very close bond between the two but nothing more serious then friendship. Though I'm kinda confused as to what happened to the Tendo house and how long it's been since that incident at the end of the first part but I'm guessing 2 weeks at least. Keep up the good work and update asap.
