The poem is beautiful! My Dad was a flyer and we loved to fly together even on short flights around the Bristol Hills and finger Lakes in western NY where I grew up. But in 1959 when I was just out of art school and had a free summer, Dad and Mom and I flew to Alaska. What a great experience!
