I have to agree with the other reviewers here- slashy, yes, but tastefully done!

Yes, this works. The chanslashy elements don't bother me because they are expressed as longing, and in a time of crisis. And because we know that the kid will grow up to be someone who can more than handle it. You do the ending quite tastefully, so that it is sad and beautiful rather than horrible.

Sad but effective AU. The imagery was great, touching...and even though it was sad, the ending was still uplifting, in a strange way. So yeah, it definitely worked for me.

oh, wow...*stares at the screen wide-eyed* That was really touching and very emotional. Very short, but you managed to tell a much longer story in it. You want to know, whether it worked for me? And *how* it did!
