The Other is Spike's demon I think. It wants to lure him back to what he was before. The room of dead people and Linwood are just part of the space where Galen hoovers between life and death.

Surprised that Angel wouldn't smell Galen/Spike's blood while the demon of Sarah tormented him. Fresh blood would be like a beacon to a vampire.

i love this story but i have a question if Buffy was sleeping next to Galen/Spike then how come she didnt feel him stuggling and why didnt sngel catcha sent of both her blood wen she was in the bathroom and when she was in Galen/Spikes room?

It would be nice for Angel and Spike to have a better relationship. Of course I want to know more about the new Spike/Galen we will be meeting. As for Buffy her time may have passed.

I do hope that you have a very bloody, gore-tastic death planned for this Sarah chick. Nobody messes with Spike, man. That's so not even cool. Can't wait till the next chapter, in which I hope we get to read about Buffy seperating Sarah's head from her shoulders via rusty butterknife. Rusty, DULL butterknife.

I enjoyed the update, but do have a question. Why didn't Angel catch the scent of the blood from the wounds Sarah opened while in the bathroom. He should have been aware of the scent of blood no matter how she cleaned her wounds. It should have alerted him to something being wrong.

So good to see more of this story, the originality of the plot and the quality of the writing makes each new chapter a real joy. Pets you and your muse in the hopes of future chapters.

I knew this would happen, and maybe that's why it felt less heart wrenching than I expected it to - but it's going to get worse, isn't it? The rest of the gang isn't going to like the decision Buffy and Angel made, but I'm mostly worried about Galen/Spike's reaction. Galen is such a sweet person, I hope there's something left of him in the vampire about to be born.

By the way, I love your Kennedy! Most of the fandom treats her badly, it's great to see someone write her as a positive and fun character.
