What a delightful story - I love seeing Snape get a fresh start. And I like that she went back for him *before* she knew of his true loyalties, and that you've left it open for possibilities. (One note, Vino's became Vito's just a few paragraph's later). I look forward to reading more of your work.

O, I think Hermione and "David" are going to become good friends. He makes a great muggle. So, this looks complete and satisfying on its own, but I certainly wouldn't complain if there were to be another scene or two.

DH should have ended this way! I'm a little disappointed in JKR for killing him off so ruthlessly in canon, but fortunately we have other stories like yours that offer more hopeful alternatives.
