Great story. I too was expecting Voyager to end this way - with some subtle indication that Janeway and Chakotay would have a future together. The writers sure had a bad day when they invented C/7! No easy task to turn this scene from Endgame into J/C, but you pulled it off :) Well done.

Another gorgeous story, Mizvoy. (Sigh). So true to character that we can hope this is the way it really ended, with Janeway and Chakotay holding hands - and Seven out of the picture.

Aww, very nice! You did well at capturing Chakotay's voice. Everything down to the mindless tedium of Starfleet beauacracy was perfect. It could have been taken up from the cutting-room floor. Nice add-on
