I love the idea that Severus can see Lily and tge others as they appear to Harry when he summons them with Resurrection Stone. The last twinge of annoyance at Albus was hilarious as well.

Beautifully written. I love your version of the thoughts that come into Snape´s mind as he is dying.
But have to admit I don´t like the ending very much, because I can´t imagine Snape to come to the a kind of afterlife where everyone will be the same as in their real life, and where they are able to talk to each other. I imagine him just meeting Lily, because in the end, she was all that mattered to him, and she would lead him on into peace. It wouldn´t matter if she was married to James, because they are just souls after death.

Oh honey, this isn't terrible at all! In fact, as a fellow 'there must be more to Snape than evil' fangirl, I would have written something like this if JKR's characters weren't so hard to pin down. I think he's a wonderfully gray character in a universe of black and white villains and heroes, and for a series about love I don't think he got his share of it. I like the reincarnation angle at the end - how original! - and I wonder who the dead would be reincarnated as. Very nice!

This is just lovely. And completely true, Severus Snape was the bravest and most selfless character in the entire Harry Potter series. You made me cry again...

I feel kinda sorry for Snape after book 7, LOVE THIS!
