Wow, both of these chapters are very good. I hope the ending is still up in the air for you. I've already fallen for Aenath (sp?) and would hate to see her hurt or dead. I look forward to more.

Oh, that was lovely. You've given us a such a new view of the Tok'ra. I really feel her pain as she loses a dear friend and contemplates her new life with Sheppard. I'm really looking forward to the series!

An interesting pov. We can all sympathise with John's pov, with those of his friends, as they are the same sort of reactions we would likely have in the same situation, but I enjoyed seeing things from the other side and learning just how close the bond can be and how distressing it is to come to the end. Aenath's distress at losing Simtu and the panic and fear that John may not want her after all was tangible. Will he find out that she only agreed after seeing his eyes?

I'm looking forward to the coming adventures.

Intriguing story! You've got me hooked. I think the second chapter, with the symbiote perspective, did more to draw me in than the 1st chapter. You did a great job of showing the pain and loss felt by Aenath, and her compassion for John. It's hard for me to imagine John ever taking a symbiote, but I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
